Wilda Jim Garner, 93, longtime Maud resident, passed from this life on Thursday, July 6th 2023 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Wilda was born February 20, 1930, in Carr City, Oklahoma (near Maud, Oklahoma) to Wilma Lena and Hice William Hill.

Dorothy Mae Miller age 90, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in Mcloud, Oklahoma. She was born April 8, 1933 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Claud Stephens and Dora Mae (Gordon) Stephens. She married Joseph Calvin Miller Sr. in Wewoka, OK. He preceded her in death in 1983.

Shores Rosalie A. Shores, Seminole resident, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 in Seminole, at the age of 58. She was born on March 29, 1965 in Cebu, Philippines. After high school she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing becoming a registered nurse.

Washington Jacob Skyler Washington entered Heaven’s Gates on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the age of 33. He was born on January 4, 1990, to Georgia Nicole Washington and Jeffrey Rogers in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was the first baby born in the 90’s in Seminole County.

Monday Seminole resident, Lorene Monday passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her home. Lorene, the daughter of John and Nora Alice (Treat) Griffin, was born May 18, 1931, in Watts, AR.

Miller Robin Lynn Miller, age 63, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 in OKC, OK. She was born May 22, 1960 in St. Louis, MO to JoAnn Miller. She graduated from Wewoka High School in 1979. She was married to Ronald Postoak for over 30 years.

James David Warner age 57, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home in Moore, OK. He was born January 8, 1966 in Wewoka, OK to the late Jimmy Warner and Mary Warner. He grew up in Wewoka, OK and graduated from Wewoka High School. He is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy and Mary Warner.

Samuel Scott “Scotty” Rosamond, Jr., Seminole resident, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 in Seminole, at the age of 56. Scotty was born on January 14, 1967 in Seminole to Samuel “Sam” Scott Rosamond Sr. and Betty Louise (White) Rosamond. He grew up in Seminole.

Max Dean Smith was a caring husband, dad, papa, brother, and friend. He left this world June 30th, 2023 at age 87, at his home surrounded by family. Max was born to Cy and Golda Smith on June 4, 1936 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He graduated from New Lima Schools in 1954.
