Wondle Joe “Charlie” Osborn passed away Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 at his home in Holdenville at the age of 86.

Charlie was born December 2nd, 1934 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Joe Osborn and Ruby Parker Osborn. Charlie attended Wetumka Public Schools. Charlie married Shirley May on October 31, 1953 in Wetumka. He was a Pumper in the Oilfield industry. Charlie loved spending time with his family and friends.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley, siblings; Ulyess, Burness, Cassol, Artie, Carlos, Carlie, Gwyndle, grandson Tony Houck and son-in-law Tommy Hughes. He is survived by his children; Sharla Hughes of Holdenville, Sandy Garner and husband John of Holdenville, Sherry Neese and husband Mark of McLoud, grandchildren; Traci Bowen and husband Scotty of Holdenville, Amber Garner and Glenn Davis of Holdenville, Mikeal Garner and wife Dee Dee of Florida, Branden Garner and wife Randa of Wetumka, Jennifer Black and husband Scott of Holdenville, Jeff Garner and wife Chelsea of Holdenville, Marcus Neese and wife Jill of Wetumka, Derek Neese and wife Dalelynn of Texas, Mackenzie Leftwich and Matt Mihelis of Bethany, Chelsea Neese and Keegan Dart of Noble and Garrett Neese of Durant. Charlie is survived by numerous other family and friends.

Viewing will be 8:00am-7:00pm Friday, June 4th, 8:00am-7:00pm Saturday, June 5th, 1:00pm-5:00pm Sunday, June 6th at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Monday, June 7, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church in Wetumka, Oklahoma with Pastor David Pope officiating assisted by Randy Osborn.

Pallbearers are Colby Bowen, Jeff Garner, Matt Mihelis, Branden Garner, Tyler Thornhill, Keegan Dart, Brayden Black and Scott Black. Honorary Pallbearers are Jeff Osborn, Randy Osborn, Tony Winn, Scotty Bowen, Marcus Neese, Derek Neese, and Garrett Neese.

Interment will follow at Wetumka Cemetery, Wetumka, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
