Velma (Sewell) Martin of Wewoka, Passed Saturday September 18, 2021 at the age of 80.
Velma was the daughter of the late Goerge Sewell and Mollie (Powell) Sewell. She was born May 26, 1941 in Holdenville, OK.
She Graduated Chilocco in NewKirk, OK then later she retired from Wrangler as a factory worker.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents George and Mollie Sewell, her siblings Jack Sewell, Paul Sewell, Margie Sewell Scott, Aggie Sewell Gibson, Melinda Sewell, Harriett Sewell and Willie Sewell.
Survivors include her children Jeana Meek of Wewoka, Christina Hulbutta of Wewoka, Jimmy Sewell of Wewoka, 2 grandchildren, Sisters Deborah Sewell of Wewoka, Wanda Sewell of Wewoka, Newman Sewell of Tahlequah, Thomas Sewell and Becky of Dallas Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.
Wake Service will be Wednesday September 22, 2021 at 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Stout-Phillips Chapel and Funeral will be 2:00 pm Thursday September 23, 2021Service at Stout-Phillips Chapel with Pastor Houston Tiger Officiating.
