Van Wyatt Sanders, age 26, passed away May 2, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born June 26, 1995, in Oklahoma City to Deryl Ray Sanders and Jennifer Jill (Jones) Sanders. He was a high school graduate. He married Desirea Fontenot on October 25, 2013, in Oklahoma City. Van worked at Grow Generation as an assistant manager.

Van was the most loving and caring son anyone could ever have! After he met Desirea and became a farther he became the most fun loving husband and father! He loved camping and going anywhere with his family and friends! Especially to the lake and bonding during family gatherings. He devoted all his time to FAMILY and hobbies. Van LOVED fast cars, fat-blocks, V 8s, the sound of a good tuned engine, any good looking car or motorcycle he saw! Then the thrill of horsepower and the race!! He was also so proud to be part of the GTO community! He cherished ALL of his friendships! He would be willing to help anyone in need no matter when where or who it was. He also enjoyed working on cars and touring with his dad. Van always had a biggest smile on his face and loved telling jokes.

Van is survived by his parents, Deryl and Jill Sanders; his wife, Desirea Sanders; his sons, Adrian Sanders, Samuel Sanders and Eli Sanders and his sister, Deryl Rae Sanders all of Oklahoma City.

Van was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Ava Luna Sanders, and his grandparents, William E. and Alma Sanders.

The funeral service for Van will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Billy Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at the Peter Tiger Family Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
