Raymond Dan Myers, Seminole resident, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at his home, at the age of 89. Raymond was born on June 10, 1933 in Elida, New Mexico to Leslie G. Myers and Bertha M. (Summit) Myers. He married Juanita L. Myers on December 13, 1961 in Booker, Oklahoma. Together they raised four daughters and one son.

He proudly served with the United States Army National Guard and the Navy. He was awarded the following medals: National Defense Service Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, China Service Medal and the Korean Service Ribbon (one star).

OK. Raymond and Juanita were also blessed with 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Junita Myers; son, Michael York and son-inlaw, Scott Cathey.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
