Peter J. “PJ” Wolfe, 38, Earlsboro, Oklahoma area, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his home in Earlsboro.

Peter was born January 14, 1982 in Ada, Oklahoma to Alex Peter Wolfe and Christine Sue (Harjo) McKinney.

PJ grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma until the age of 8, when his family moved to California and then back to Earlsboro at the age of 12. He lived there until his passing.

PJ graduated from Earlsboro High School in 2001.

He worked as a landscaper and was on the maintenance crew at Citizen Potawatomi Nation and worked as a sacker at Firelake Grocery.

He also worked security at Indian Falls Creek for 10 years.

PJ is survived by his mother; Christine S. McKinney and step-father John A. McKinney, five brothers; Daniel Wolfe of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Svk Wolfe of the home, Christopher McKinney and his wife Kathryn of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Raymond McKinney and John Homma McKinney both of the home, his sister; Alex Michelle Wolfe of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his father; Alex Wolfe, grandmother; Susie Johnson Harjo and grandfather; Raymond Marcey Harjo.

PJ’s body will be taken to the Earlsboro Indian Baptist Church in Earlsboro, Oklahoma at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 6, 2020.

There will be a wake service at the church starting at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 27, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Earlsboro Indian Baptist Church with Pastor Gaylen Greenwalt officiating.

Burial will follow at the Johnson Family cemetery south of Wetumka, Oklahoma.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
