Buster Gene Pace, 88, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2020 in Seminole.

Buster was born on June 23, 1931 in rural Seminole County to Buster Miles Pace and Bessie Irene (Bell) Pace. He was their only child.

Buster graduated from Strother High School in 1951. On August 16, 1957, he married Georgia Naomi Pruitt. Altogether they were together for 70 years.

Buster made his living as a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Seminole Conservation Committee for 38 years, serving as a board member and as president.

In his younger years, he loved coaching softball, helping with the local livestock shows and hunting deer and elk.

He also enjoyed gardening in his later years.

Buster was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Allie Nicole Shelton.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Naomi Pace, of the home; a daughter, Tami (Pace) Shelton and her husband Jeff of Seminole; a grandson, Zachary Shelton and a granddaughter, Tatum Shelton, both of Seminole.

Services for Buster will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at Little Cemetery, Seminole, Ok.
