Mildred Dorisdean (DeVault) Khoury, age 99 passed away at Ballard Nursing Center on March 29, 2023.

A Rosary is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 31 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. Joseph Duggempudi will officiate, and burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

She was born February 2, 1924 at Lindsay, Oklahoma to William DeVault and Ruby (Smith) Jones. Mildred graduated from Konawa High School in 1943, and she married Daniel David Khoury on July 17, 1943 in Abilene, Texas. She was a co-owner with her husband of Khoury Furniture and Lumber Yard in Konawa, and she was the secretary and bookkeeper for their business. Mildred has been a life-long member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for more than seventy-five years, and of the Sacred Heart Altar Society, and of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by son, Daniel Khoury and wife, Doris of Konawa, Oklahoma and their children, Philip D. Khoury and wife, Missy and their children, Ashleigh and Danielle and husband, Stephen, Dr. Stephen C. Khoury and his children, Lauren, Carter, and Katherine, and Carl Aron Khoury and wife, Shannan and their children, Austyn and wife, Jolie, Brayden and wife, Sadie, Eryn Khoury, Alexis, and Delaney Williams, and Sidney Khoury, three great-great grandchildren, Reagan Khoury, Hunter Crochet, and Kolsyn Khoury. She is survived by daughter, Claudia Sharber and husband, John of Konawa, and two daughters, Candice (Sharber) Waldroup and husband, Anthony of Dayton, Ohio and their children, Jade (Waldroup) Mittelstadt and husband, Matthew, and daughter, Adelaide of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Zachary Waldroup and wife, Marie and son Peter of Oklahoma City, Blake Waldroup and wife, Catherine, and son Thomas of Yukon, Oklahoma, Nicholas Waldroup and wife, Maria of Wichita, Kansas, Olivia Waldroup of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Matthew Waldroup of Dayton, Ohio, Misty (Sharber) Granger and husband Eric of Piedmont, Oklahoma and their children, Jackson Granger and Blaine Granger of Piedmont, Oklahoma, and Parker Granger of Stillwater, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her daughter, Pamela Kirkwood of Konawa and her children, daughter, Sheila Capps and husband, Carl and their sons, Tanner and William, and daughters, Carli Capps and Austin and their son, Jesse, Amanda Lee and husband, Jeremiah and their daughter, Hayven and son, Isiah, Lindsey Elliott and husband, Derek and their sons, Deaton and Daxton. Daughter, Angie Brooks and husband, Darryl and their son, Caleb and daughter, Lacy and husband, Chris and their son, Baylor and daughter, Trinity. William James “Billy” Kirkwood and his sons, Joshua, Jacob, Joseph, James and his wife, Morgan and their daughter, Jaiden. Daughter, Kori and husband, Michael and their daughters, Victoria and Emily and sons, Evan and Payton, and Savannah and baby to be, Jensen. Daughter, Kaci and her daughters Piper, Paylyn, Presley, and Colton and their daughter, Everley and son, Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William DeVault and Ruby Jones; and her husband, Daniel Khoury on March 19, 2018, and grandson, Jayson Khoury.
