John Larkin Lewis, 88 of Sasakwa, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at his home.

He was born on September 25, 1932, in Strang, Oklahoma to late Joe Lewis and Hazel Osborn Lewis.

He attended school in Salina, Oklahoma where he met and married Mary Lou Lewis.

They then moved to Sasakwa in 1954 where they started their business and family. He enjoyed playing golf, going to church, horse racing and loved spending time with family. John was an oil field business owner where he operated a Well Service Co., Hot oilers, Tank Trunks and a production company.

Preceding him in death were his parents Joe Lewis and Hazel Osborn Lewis, first wife, Mary Lou Lewis and second wife, Jackie Lewis, daughter, Johnnie Lewis, brother, Jeff Lewis, and great grandchild Tatum.

Survivors include his children Jay & Judy of Sasakwa, OK, Bo & Michelle Burk of Ada, OK, grandchildren: Keith Lewis, Jamie Grant, Kendra Hunt, Jayson Lewis, Keaton Scott and numerous great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Pastor Wesley Martin assisted by Pastor Jimmy Freeman. Interment will be Oakwood Cemetery at Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will include Kenny Watters, Dewayne Chambers, Norman Moore, Jr. Coody, David Murrell and David Nunn.

Honorary Pallbearers will include Kevin Price, Corky Norman, Billy Jack Norman, Paul Jarvis, Pat Swan and Sonny Ward.

Service are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
