On Wednesday, April 1 st , Jimmy Dee Parsons, beloved husband to Lovelle and father of three, went to be with the Lord at the age of 80.

Jimmy was born on June 5, 1939 in Prague, Ok to Russell and Freida (Casteel) Parsons.

He went to work at an early age and spent over fifty years in the oil industry, retiring from Oakland Petroleum as production superintendent.

On March 3, 1954 he married Argie Ree Pierce, who preceded him in death in 1993.

He married Lovelle Daniel on July 25, 1997 in Seminole where they continued to call home.

Jimmy loved spending time with his family. He had a passion for hunting and fishing and was good with a gun and a guitar. Some of his favorite pastimes were playing music with his friends and watching anything Oklahoma Sooners or Oklahoma City Thunder. He could also be found in front of the tv watching Gunsmoke or most any western show. Jimmy was a member of the Seminole Trinity Baptist Church.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Freida Parsons; his wife Argie and his brother, Bobby Parsons.

Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Lovelle, of the home. Two daughters; Freida Sutton and husband Jerry, Jamie Flesher and husband John. One Son; Russell Parsons and wife Katie. One Brother; Bill Parsons and wife Sue. Three stepsons; Jack Daniel, Jep Daniel and Suzanne Pointer and their children Stormy Daniel and Oliver Pointer, Lance Daniel and wife Amber and their children Savannah and Meaghynn. Grandchildren; Heather and Justin Presley, Jared Sutton, Ginger, Dee, and Haylee Flesher, Leighton, Landry, and Leva Parsons. Jimmy will be remembered by six great grandchildren as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A private graveside service is pending with Swearingen Funeral Home. A celebration of Jimmy’s life for all family and friends will be scheduled at a later time.
