Jacob Layne Borba aka Damon Layne, 21, of Eufaula, passed away on March 3, 2021. Jacob was born on May 19, 1999, in Seminole, Oklahoma, the son of Matthew O’bannon Aldridge and Germaine Christina Borba. He attended Canadian High School. Jacob worked as a sales representative and processing manager for Pharmicated. He enjoyed smoking weed and loved his job. He had worked for Pharmicated for a year and was eager to learn as much as possible in order to open his own shop in Enterprise. In his spare time, Jacob enjoyed music, watching Anime and cooking. He was a good natured person with a big heart.

Survivors include: his father, MattAldridge of Claremore; his mother, Germaine Borba of Longtown; his sister, Emma Borba of Longtown; his grandmother, Jannice Martin of Longtown; his girlfriend, Alma Sanchez of Longtown; two aunts, Andrea Zapata and husband Lupe and Felecia Cartwright and her son, Elias of Seminole; his grandfathers, Harold Aldridge of Seminole, Phillip Cartwight of Tecumseh and Vince Beckett of Kansas. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Wayne & Grace Aldridge and his great grandmother, Bettie Mae Adams.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at the Kelley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tim Tate of Seminole officiating. Burial will follow at the Bower Cemetery under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.hbmfuneralhome.com.
