Harley Huffman

Harley Joe Huffman of Fay, OK, passed from this earth on Wednesday, January 14, 2020. He was born June 30, 1930, in Yale, OK, a son of the late Harlie Walter and Gladys Irene (Babcock) Huffman.

He graduated from Seminole High School and then attended Seminole Jr. College.

Harley served his country in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.

He was a member of the Watonga First United Methodist Church.

He married the love of his life Margaret Jean (Olden) Huffman, on October 1, 1953, sharing 66 years of marriage.

Harley worked his adult life in the oil field, retiring from Sun Oil Company in 1985. A devoted and loving husband and father, his family loved and cherished him.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret of the home; daughter, Terrie Haskell of Watonga; son, Harley Steven Huffman and wife Patty of Watonga; four grandsons: Gus Haskell and wife Nadia of Dubai UAE, Gabe Haskell of Williamsport, PA, Garrett Haskell of Denver, CO, and Harley Daniel Huffman and wife Robyn of Del City, OK; one great-grandson, Aleks Haskell of Dubai UAE, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Harley is also preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Joann Huffman; brother, James W. Huffman; sister, Patty (Huffman) Hicks, and three half-brothers: Bill Meyer, Ed Meyer, and Guy Parrish.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Watonga First United Methodist Church, 420 W. Weigle Ave. Watonga, OK 73772, with graveside services following at 3:00 p.m., at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, 100 W. Strothers Ave., Seminole, OK 74868.
