Danny Lovoe Miller was born May 27, 1955 in Altus, OK to Gene Miller and Gail Miller Jones.

On December 23, 2022, at his home in Guthrie, OK he took his last breath here on earth and then breathed a very sweet breath into the heavenly realms to meet his Savior.

He was raised in early years in the Choctaw, OK where his dad pastored the Wright Station Church of God. It was here that Danny started playing piano.

He moved to Edmond, OK when his dad began to pastor the Edmond Church of God. Danny began being the church pianist about age 11. Danny graduated in 1973 from Edmond Memorial High School. In 1974, Danny married Deborah Goss and in 1976, their daughter, Jennifer, was born, who was the light of his life.

Shortly after high school Danny connected up with Mike Riley and the duo known as Miller/Riley Band played in the Oklahoma City area for several years. They were later joined with Terry Zimmerman and Robbie Rogers. Danny and Mike moved to Abilene, TX and established the Paramount Theatre as a music venue for the Abilene area. Miller/ Riley would open for the country and western stars they booked at the Paramount.

After coming back to Oklahoma, Danny played many venues in Oklahoma mainly in the southern Oklahoma region.

Danny moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and performed for a time at the MGM Grand in a Rock N Roll Review Show. Later Danny moved to Nashville pursuing his music career.

The latest phase of Danny’s music career was entertaining hundreds of nursing home and retirement center residents all over Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. Danny had finally found his calling. He knew the secret to happiness for this population was music and laughter. He touched countless lives and has shared stories of the many residents that he has touched through his music.

On 10-10-10, Danny married LaDonn Felts and together they had many adventures traveling and going to antique stores and having the time of their lives.

Danny was a prolific song writer, writing songs in all genres-country, rock, gospel, and blues.

Danny’s loves were his family, friends, football, fishing, food, and fun. He loved to make people laugh. He would usually end his show with, “Keep a smile on your face, a song in your heart, and a cookie in your pocket at all times.

His last good days on this earth he made sure to tell all of us that he would see us again someday.

Danny was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Lynn Miller and Steven Ray Miller; Paternal Grandparents, Jake and Bessie Miller; Maternal Grandparents, Gus and Mae Underwood; Step-daughter, Nikki.

Danny is survived by his wife, LaDonn of the home; Daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Chris) Weaver; Dad, Gene Miller; Mom, Gail Jones; Brother and Sister-in-law, Terry Miller (Gail); Nieces, Kimberly Miller and Amanda Miller; Nephew, Todd Miller; a very special Aunt, Velta Lee McSperitt; Stepchildren, Bobby, Mitch, and Donn; and eight Step Grandchildren.
