Carmen Ann (Lewis) Doolin was born October 19, 1940 in Orland, CA to Edmund and Alberta Copper Lewis.

Carmen married the love of her life Richard “Dick” Doolin on October 18, 1969 and moved to Wewoka, OK which became the town they loved and called home.

Carmen and Dick loved doing what they done best. Owned and operated two restaurants DD’S Drive In and The Brunch-N-Lunch. Carmen never met a stranger and loved her community.

Her heart was bigger than she was, her love for all that worked for her became family and her children. She loved cooking, watching OU football and OKC Thunder basketball.

Preceding Carmen in death are her parents, husband, one brother Edmond Lewis.

Those left to cherish Carmen’s memories are son Rick Boyles and wife Leslie of Holdenville, OK, Kristy Hope of Wewoka, OK, stepson Ralph Doolin and wife Margo, Rick Doolin and wife Barbara, Ray Doolin, Rodney Doolin and wife Bonnie, Russell Doolin and wife Doreen; 24 grandchildren Jessica Johnson, Wewoka, OK, Jeffery Hope, Wewoka, OK, Camron and Brittany Hope, Shawnee, Edmund Lewis, Holdenville, OK; 39 great-grandchildren, Treyton, Tyra, Masei, Zackkery, Daisie, Jessie, Hadlee, Sadie, and Faith; Aunt Beverly Jones, CA; Sisters Sarah Lewis, Bernice Cooper, CA; nephews Vincent and Diane Lewis, Victor and Debbi Lewis, El Cajon, CA,; Carmen leaves behind so many that she loved dearly.

Pall bearers will be James McNiel, Treyton Johnson, Edmund Lewis, Camron Hope, Dedric Johnson, and Kevin Griffin.

Honorary pall bearers will be Mark Newman, Andy Johnson, Jeffery Hope, Shannon Smith, and Gary Hope.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday January 27, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel With Pastor Sam Ketcher officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
