Beverly Ann Edwards, 76, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023. Beverly was born on August 10th, 1946 in Seminole, OK. Her life was filled with deep love of Jesus, family and creativity. Beverly and her husband Thurman were married October 28, 1962, together for the next 60 years they had many adventures, laughter and love.

Beverly’s love for the Lord was undeniable and poured out to those around her. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life she led with a servant heart. Her quiet and gentle spirit made everyone at ease around her.

Beverly was a caring mom and dear friend to her children, as well as a doting grandmother who attended any and all events for her grandchildren. She was a phenomenal tennis player, a love she shared and passed down to her family. Her Easter Bunny coconut cakes were a specialty of hers that her grandchildren looked forward to each year.

Beverly’s beautiful handwriting was a testament to her creativity and attention to detail, which she poured into every letter and holiday card she wrote. Her heartfelt words penned in her beautiful handwriting became a cherished message for her family and friends. Beverly’s exceptional style and design made anything she touched beautiful. Her eye for design was one of a kind especially when crafting invitations and creating cozy spaces. Her vision made her home a warm and welcoming place for all.

Her talents were showcased during her 14 years tenure at The Line in downtown Seminole, a role she took great pride in and remembered as some of the best times in her life. Beverly created spectacular flower arrangements that her customers loved and her daughters treasured.

Beverly will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She touched the lives of so many with her kind heart, infectious smile and unwavering faith. Truly a Proverbs 31 woman through and through. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Thurman and their dog Mattie, sister Karen Benham, daughters Kimberly Pope(Kent) and Suzanne Young (John), and grandchildren Preston Pope, Carsen Young, Alexis Hart, Carley Lewis, Anna Burgess and Maggie Young. Also, great-grandchildren Oliver, Beckett, Waylon, Emmett and soon to be born, Wyatt.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Myah Columbus at Jasmine Estates of Edmond and Tandi Atyia Thomas of Humanity Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to Beverly in her final days. They were a source of comfort and support to Beverly and her family during this difficult time.

The Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held at Northridge Church of Christ (1001 E MacArthur St, Shawnee, OK 74804) on March 25th at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made to Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Alzheimer’s Association in Beverly’s honor.
