House Speaker-Elect Kyle Hilbert announced Friday the updated committee assignments for the second session of the 60th Legislature following changes in House membership.

Rep. Danny Williams, R-Seminole, will chair the Children, Youth and Family Services Committee. Rep. Daniel Pae, R-Lawton, will serve as vice-chair.

Williams will also serve on the Elections and Ethics Committee, the A&B Human Services Sub-committee and the Health and Human Services Oversight Committee.

Williams, who assumed office in 2020, represents District 28, which includes Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties. Municipalities represented in the district include Asher, Bowlegs, Cromwell, Dixon, Johnson, Konawa, Lima, Maud, McLoud, Oklahoma City, Sasakwa, Seminole, Shawnee, St. Louis, Tribbey and Wewoka.
