The Strother FFA welding team recently competed in the Marietta Red River Rumble with 35 other teams. Team one, consisting of Hunter Lehman and Mylam Defries, placed second overall. Team two, consisting of Barrett Grissom and Ludie Barrett-Higgins, placed fifth overall. Mylam and Barrett scored a perfect score on the tool ID portion and Mylam placed fourth in the cutting torch races.
