The Seminole Veterans Event Committee—a collaborative effort of the Seminole Arts Council, the Seminole Downtown District, the Seminole Chamber of Commerce, and American Legion Post #204, invite and encourage the public to join them this Friday, Nov. 7, for their annual Seminole Veterans’ Parade & Free BBQ Meal.

The Committee states it is their privilege to collaborate with the community to honor the courageous men and women who have served to protect our country. This event will feature the national anthem performed by local talent as well as other entertainment.

Entrants are welcome to drive a vehicle, ride a bike, walk, or dance down the parade route. Parade lineup will start at 3:15 p.m. at the Pink Laundry, 640 N. Main Street. The parade will kick off at 4:00 p.m. sharp. A delicious brisket meal will be served immediately after the parade at the Seminole Art Center, 139 N. Main, with veterans and their families being first priority. During the meal, attendees will have the opportunity to hear inspiring stories and experiences shared by Veterans, as well as learn about valuable resources available to our veteran community. Veteran-owned and veteran- related vendors will also be present.

The Seminole Veterans Event Committee encourages everyone to join them in celebrating and expressing gratitude for our beloved heroes. Come meet local veterans, enjoy a warm meal, and take part in this meaningful community gathering.
