Konawa Well Represented at The Okla. FFA Conference in Sparks
The Konawa FFA chapter was proudly represented at the 2024 Oklahoma FFA Lead 360 Conference, held at Camp Cargill in Sparks, Oklahoma.
Approximately 1600 FFA members from more than 300 Oklahoma FFA chapters attended one of the two weekend-long conferences scheduled for December 7-8 and December 14-15.
Attendees from the Konawa FFA Chapter include Ella Allen, Jayden Coats, Keigan Hinds, and Emma Kenyon.
The Lead 360 Conference is designed for FFA members in grades 8-12, exploring topics such as self-esteem, personal growth, motivation, goal setting, and teamwork. The program featured professional speakers Rhett Laubach, Bill Cordes, Kelly Barnes, Jason Wetzler, and Dustin Galyon, who led various breakout sessions. The keynote speaker for the conference was Craig Hiller from Lakeville, Minnesota, known for inspiring students to make positive choices and maximize their potential. Craig’s engaging presentation style ensures that students leave with practical strategies for personal growth and leadership.
The Lead 360 Conference is sponsored by McDonald’s of Oklahoma as a special project of the Oklahoma FFA Foundation. The FFA is an integral part of the agricultural education division of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, with 29,682 Oklahoma FFA members across 369 high schools statewide.
