Jo Ann (Kuestersteffen) Johnson, age 68 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at OU Medical in Oklahoma City on August 19, 2025. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.

Buddie “Charles” Huckleberry, age 92 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away August 19, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2025 at Dora Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Ada Mae Ferguson, Okemah, OK resident, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Seminole at the age of 84.

George William Clark, Jr., 83, longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, August 11, 2025. George was born on March 31, 1942 in Talihina, Oklahoma to George William (Bill) Clark and Bertie Mae (Bolin) Clark.

With love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Ella Marie Stiffler, who departed this life on August 17 at the age of 86. Ella was born at the family residence near Earlsboro, Oklahoma, on January 14, 1939, to Alvin and Ida Maude Hamon.

Tanya Elizabeth (Adams) Gunter, longtime Seminole County resident, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the age of 57 after a courageous battle with cancer for three years. Surviving Tanya are her two sons, Bailey Gunter and wife Kelsi and J.

Ferguson Ada Mae Ferguson, Okemah, OK resident, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Seminole at the age of 84.

Carter Kenneth Eugene Carter passed away August 9th, 2025, at the age of 53 yrs old. He was born on June 21, 1972, to Nancy Jane (Hook) Carter and Gerald L Carter. Kenneth attended Del City schools and graduated from high school in 1990. Kenneth loved wrestling, and he was very good at it.

Funeral services for Debra “Debbie” Davis were held Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment followed at the Basquez Family Cemetery of Wetumka.

With deep sorrow, the family of James “Kimo” Carinio announces his peaceful passing on August 8, 2025. He was born on May 27, 1939, in Honolulu, Hawaii. A proud athlete in his high school years, James answered the call to serve his country in the U.S.
