George William Clark, Jr.

George William Clark, Jr., 83, longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, August 11, 2025.

George was born on March 31, 1942 in Talihina, Oklahoma to George William (Bill) Clark and Bertie Mae (Bolin) Clark.

George attended elementary school in Marble City, Oklahoma, Summers Chapel Middle School and Konawa High School. He furthered his education to become a TV Technician in Denver, Colorado.

He is survived by one daughter, Tina Stegall and husband Billy of Edmond, Oklahoma; two brothers, Ernest Clark and wife Karen of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Herman Clark and wife Marie of Konawa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Shirley Boren and husband Mike of Konawa, Oklahoma and Juanita Moore of Ada, Oklahoma; and his three grandchildren, Zachary and his wife Megan, Blake and Emma.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George William and Bertie Clark; brother Charles David Clark; sister Sadie Marie Villines; son Philip Scott Clark; grandparents Ernest and Ada Clark, and William and Sadie Bolin; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A private family service will be held at a later date with cremation under the care of Brown’s Family Funeral Home of McCloud, Oklahoma.
