Little did Maxine know, she would meet Clifton, the love of her life, on her way to sneak back to the church. Since then, Maxine and Clifton have been inseparable with over 74 years of marriage.

Read moreCummings Michael “Mike” Keith Cummings was born January 6th, 1947, in Vallejo, California to Buiel and Alice Cummings. He attended Benecia High School and belonged to the graduate class of 1964. After High School, he joined the U.S. Navy and spent many years touring places such as Vietnam, the Philippines, Guam, Tahiti, and more on the USS Turner Joy. Upon returning, he attended a baseball game where he met Joan Ellen Thurlo. A few short years later, the pair snuck away to Reno, Nevada, where they were married alongside Mike’s brother. They went on to have two daughters, who they raised in Seminole, Oklahoma and spend 44 years of marriage together. Mike worked for ODOT for 20 years, for the Cities of Seminole and Wewoka, and renovating properties.

She attended Seminole Schools and graduated from Seminole High School and she was named Valedictorian of her senior class. She married Herman Cecil Sullivan, Jr. on December 5, 1943 in Seminole. She worked as a secretary in the insurance office of her husband and also in the oilfield.
