The purpose of the grant is to provide support and funding to Oklahoma communities to increase economic development opportunities throughout the state, particularly in rural communities. The application for the grant will become available on Dec. 1, 2021, and remain open until Jan. 7, 2022.

Read moreSeveral Seminole State College students recently attended the production of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at the Oklahoma City Civic Center. The Student Support Services (SSS) and STEM Student Support Services (STEM SSS) Projects sponsored the event. The purpose of the trip was for participants of the programs to have an opportunity to experience a performing arts event that is not typically accessible to them and to enjoy an enriching cultural performance. Students were also treated to dinner at Charleston’s in Bricktown and a brief stroll down the OKC Riverwalk.
