An informal ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the new Seminole Junior College student union – cafetorium building was held this morning on the college campus. Taking part in the ground-breaking were Bob Jones, Chamber of Commerce manager; David Herrin, SJC Student Senate President; Fred Adwan, President of the SJC Board of Trustees; and Waldo Lilly, Mayor of Seminole. Construction of the new building is expected to be completed for use in the fall semester or shortly thereafter.
