The goal was to create a mechanism for the 4-year “You Can Fly” High School Curriculum developed by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), which is being adopted by school districts at a record pace across the state, to qualify as core credit and provide additional options for students.

Strother FFA recently competed in the Prague Career Development event competition. They were the 3rd place school in the sweepstakes competition. Electricity team A won first; Electricity team B won 4 . Travis Woolsey was 1st high individual, William Moore was 2nd high individual, Joseph Mason was 3rd high individual and Nash Harman was 5th high individual. Entomology placed 1st as a team. Jessica Sneed was 2nd High Individual.
