The County Commissioner Boardroom was packed Monday morning as the commissioners discussed possibly redistricting emergency services in Seminole County. A portion of the county is currently without fulltime ambulance coverage, and recent accidents have highlighted the need for a better focus on this area. No action was taken at Monday’s meeting, but the commissioners agreed to revisit the issue August 29.

This discussion concluded with an agreement include all of the county emergency responders involved in a discussion on Monday, August 29 . This issue had previously been discussed during a December 6, 2021, meeting when a meeting with all county responders was suggested but a date was never set.
