After a two-year unwanted hiatus due to the pandemic, Seminole resident Agnieszka “Agnes” Grocholska was once again able to spend her summer vacation doing volunteer work in other countries. Her previous experiences include working on projects in India, Georgia in Eastern Europe, and Ghana in West Africa. This summer she had the opportunity to spend two weeks, July 17 – July 31, in Bucaramanga, Columbia, giving workshops to a leader in the financial sector and working to improve how microfinance institutions serve rural communities.
