U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (ROkla.), ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, led a delegation to Africa to discuss the importance of the continued economic engagement and military cooperation in the region. The delegation, which included Sens. Rounds (R-S.D.) and Boozman (R-Ark.), visited with leaders and partners in Ethiopia, Kenya and Rwanda. Specific meetings included visits with Prime Minister Abiy of Ethiopia and members of the parliament of Ethiopia, newly elected President Ruto of Kenya and Inhofe’s good friend President Kagame of Rwanda.

Leadership Oklahoma (LOK) honored Laurie Tilley, Director of Marketing and Branding at Tulsa Community College, with the Distinguished Leadership Award during the 2022 Fall Forum: Meet the Candidates at Seminole State College on October 4th, 2022. The forum gave candidates on the November 8th ballot an opportunity to share their vision and goals as well as having a Q&A session to connect with the community and college students.
