Jim Inhofe (ROkla.), ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, led a delegation to Africa to discuss the importance of the continued economic engagement and military cooperation in the region. The delegation, which included Sens. Rounds (R-S.D.) and Boozman (R-Ark.), visited with leaders and partners in Ethiopia, Kenya and Rwanda. Specific meetings included visits with Prime Minister Abiy of Ethiopia and members of the parliament of Ethiopia, newly elected President Ruto of Kenya and Inhofe’s good friend President Kagame of Rwanda.
