Local Bridge Group Meets

The Boomer Seminole Duplicate Bridge group met Tuesday, March 21st. There were three tables in play. The winners were: First Place-Justine Thompson and Gayle Stacy, Shawnee. Second Place-Vivian Thompson, Ada and Lavere Bishop, Seminole.

Easter Celebration Slated For This Saturday in Downtown Ada

An Easter Celebration on Ada’s Main Street will take this Saturday, April 1st. The event will be in conjunction with the Grand Opening Celebration of the newly renovated Ada Main Street. An approximately $8,000,000 renovation has just been completed on Ada Main Street.

Twelve Seminole State College students were inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for Two-Year Colleges on March 22. Students were selected based on their scholarship, leadership and commitment to the community.
