TAOS to Premiere Student-Created Short Film

The Academy of Seminole (TAOS) will showcase the work of student filmmakers during a public premiere of the original short film “Stay Awake” on Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Jeff Johnston Fine Arts Auditorium at Seminole State College. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

OID Celebrates 500th Fortified Home in Okla.

The Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) on Tuesday announced the completion of the 500th home through its OKReady, Strengthen Oklahoma Homes (SOH) Program, marking a significant milestone in the program’s efforts to help Oklahoma homeowners build stronger, safer, and more resilient homes.
