Seminole State College’s Public Relations team earned the Best of Show award at the 2025 Oklahoma College Public Relations Association (OCPRA) Annual Conference, held July 13-15 at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Catoosa.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) was in Seminole this week, serving search warrants at a local weed dispensary that was allegedly operating illegally. A heavy law enforcement presence was in place early Friday morning outside of the Reefer Shack at 520 East Broadway.

The State of Oklahoma is looking to shut down the operations of a Seminole businessman and former mayoral candidate over unpaid taxes.
