Eight Bound For SHS Alumni Hall of Fame

E ight new members are set for induction into the Seminole High School Alumni Hall of Fame next weekend. The ceremony is slated for Saturday, Sept. 27 at 3:30 p.m. at the high school. The Hall of Fame ceremony is part of Homecoming weekend, which kicks off Friday.

Lehman Suspended as Strother Fire Chief

The City of Seminole will has begun spraying for mosquitoes, officials announced this week. At press time, spraying was scheduled to begin at dusk Monday and will continue throughout the week, weather permitting.

Seminole Nation Days Celebration Gets Underway

The 2025 edition of Seminole Nation Days, an annual cultural festival held at the Mekusukey Mission, will kick off later this week with a plethora of activities. The annual baby pageant was held over the weekend and elder games and activities began Monday, Sept. 15.
