Town Hall Meeting on Downtown Project Tuesday

The public is invited to attend a town hall meeting Tuesday, Jan. 14 to discuss the upcoming updates and renovations in Seminole’s Downtown District, which includes the roadway, sidewalk, and utilities on Main Street. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Seminole Public Library.

Extended Hours

Seminole State College is offering extended office hours in the Walkingstick Student Services Center to assist students with enrollment for the spring 2025 semester. Advisors will be available Monday through Thursday, Jan. 6–9, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

SPS Sues Architect, Builder of New High School

The Seminole Public School District has filed a lawsuit against the architectural firm and the construction company that built the new high school, alleging their negligence has caused damage to the five-year-old facility. The suit names Wynn Construction Company, Inc.
