Shawnda Delozier
Delozier Shawnda Gay Delozier, 57, of Seminole, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026 Born to Dories Walker- Delozier and Don Delozier on May 1, 1969, Shawnda lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, and service. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and her faith was reflected in the way she cared for her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
While raising her son and caring for her father, Shawnda worked for (CHBS) Comprehensive Home Based Services, a program through the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, which works to prevent child abuse and neglect by working with the families. She provided this service while putting herself through college. Through determination and perseverance, she graduated from East Central University with two master’s degrees- one in Education and the other in Human resource Counseling. She later served as a mental health therapist under supervision, finding great fulfillment in helping others and making a positive difference in their lives.
Shawnda’s greatest joy was her family, especially her beloved granddaughter Journey, who was the Light of her Gran Gran’s life. She will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, unwavering faith, and servant’s spirit. She is survived by her son Eddie Delozier, her cherished granddaughter Journey, her brothers Wayne Delozier and Beth, Don Delozier and Lois, her stepbrother James Ingram, stepsister Mandy Hill, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and her dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dories Walker-Delozier and Don Delozier, her maternal and paternal grandparents and her nephew Aaron Delozier.
