Laura Michelle Potter, beloved daughter of Mitchell and Darlene (Atwell) Potter, joined her heavenly family on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Laura was born on November 29, 1983 in Ada, Oklahoma. She graduated from Wewoka High School 2002. Laura lived at home with her parents in Wewoka for 42 years.

Her favorite daily activity was watching the game shows The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. She loved hearing the laughter, the clapping, and the happy noises.

The last few months of her short life, she enjoyed being wheeled around by her parents on their daily walks. Her sweet laughter could be heard as her daddy was popping wheelies and doing donuts in her wheel chair. She had the cutest little smile and the most contagious laugh!

She is survived by her parents Mitchell and Darlene Potter, brother William Potter of Plano, Texas.

Aunts and Uncles: Kirk Potter (Julene) of Ardmore, OK; Cindy Sipes-Robinson (Craig) of Seminole, OK.

Cousins: Wendy Potter Mueller, Eli Potter, Carla Merritt, Stephanie Powell, J. Paul Tolbert, Mathew Tolbert, Brian Tolbert, Scott Aldridge, Amanda Sipes Childers.

Special friend and caretaker, Angla Williams.

Family waiting for her in Heaven are: Great grandmother Mercedes Robertson, Paternal grandparents James and Jeanene (Robertson) Potter, Cindy Potter Tolbert, Jimmy Potter, Bryce Potter. Maternal grandparents W.O. (Bill) and Fredia (Saak) Atwell, Raellen Atwell Aldridge, Donny Sipes.

Viewing will be at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka on Sunday, June 14, 1:30pm-5pm and Monday, June 15, 9am-7pm.

Graveside services are Tuesday, June 16 in Oakwood Cemetery at 10 a.m.
