Kathryn Ledon Roy passed away Saturday, April 18. 2026 at her home in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was born April 25, 1932 in Caldwell Kansas, to Thomas Carol Grandstaff and Velma Gladys (Coppedge) Grandstaff. She married Lionel Gerard Roy on December 31, 1984 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

She was a member of Gleaners Holiness Church in Wewoka, OK. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Don McElhaney; siblings, Kenneth Grandstaff, Keith Grandstaff, Kelly Grandstaff, Kay Grandstaff, and Kermit Grandstaff.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Lionel Roy of the home; children, Tommy McElhaney and wife Debbie of Wakefield, KS, Danny Roy and wife Tammy of Wewoka, OK; grandchildren, Quinton McElhaney of Kansas City MO, Emma Parsley of Lawrence KS, Alexa Robinson of Wewoka OK, great-grandchildren, Mabel Parsley of Lawrence KS, Daxton Robinson, Preslee Robinson of Wewoka OK; siblings, Kagle Grandstaff of Seminole, OK along with numerous relatives and friends Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 22, 2026 at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Rev. Larry Chesser officiating.
