Together in Life, Together in Eternity

David Edward Maloney, age 74, of Keller, TX, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, following a life filled with love, purpose, and dedication to family. He is now joyfully reunited with his beloved spouse, Victoria Louise Maloney, who preceded him in death on October 10, 2023.

David was born on January 2, 1952 in Seminole, OK to Maurice Anthony Maloney, Sr. and Effie Agnes Maloney. After graduating from Seminole High School, he followed in his father’s footsteps as an oil field mechanic. He began working for MidContinent which later became Sunoco. Over the years, David developed quite a talent for getting big engines running again. He eventually progressed to testing engines and developed tools to help with his diagnostic skills. David established his own contracting business MAC, Inc. He frequently traveled domestically and internationally to test big power plant engines and provided companies with beneficial recommendations for repairing and maintaining their system.

Vicki was born on September 1, 1955 to Blaney Lewis Brunson and Noxie Maxine Bruce with love and support from Ted and Edith Bruce, Sr. She graduated from Bowlegs High School.

Though David lived the final years of his life without his bride “Vicki Sunshine”, the foundation of their 50-year marriage remained the guiding light of the family. Together, they had built a beautiful home, raised their son, Patrick David Maloney and shared a passion for camping, traveling the country on motorcycles and volunteering for numerous events.

Vicki had a special love for Keller’s Summer Santa program, activities with the physically challenged, and many other projects that benefited from her generous heart. She also traveled to Washington, DC to meet with her Texas senator to discuss the upcoming Americans with Disabilities Act.

Vicki was a joyful creative spirit who dabbled in a number of creative outlets from pottery to poetry. She periodically wrote for a local publication in Keller, Texas. Her joy of bargain hunting led Vicki to establish a booth at a local antique mall. She is best known by her family and friends for her compassion and generosity towards others.

The family takes great comfort in knowing they are together once more. David and Vicki are survived by their son, Patrick David Maloney, David’s sister, Elizabeth Jane (Maloney) Determan and brother, Lawrence Maloney. They are especially loved and missed by their nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Funeral services to honor their lives, while commemorating the enduring legacy of both David and Vicki, will take place on October 19, 2026 at 2:00 with a funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Seminole, Oklahoma, where they will rest sideby- side.
