Gray Connie Jean Gray (Wainwright) passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2026 in Seminole, OK at the age of 80 surrounded by her family.

Connie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charity and Roger Smith of Seminole; son and daughter- in-law, Roy Mitchell and Tina Wainright of Seminole, OK; sisters, Joyce Dycus and Lelia McCoy-Renfro; brother, Buster McCoy and six grandchildren.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert McCoy and Allie Estella Foutz; ex-husband, Roy Eugene Wainwright; brothers, Eric Foutz, Troy Foutz, Guy Foutz and sisters, Sharon Kay McCoy and Donna Moliter.

A celebration of Connie’s life will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Starting Point Church (Temple of Praise) located at 1100 N. University St., Seminole, OK 74868 with Pastor Jeff Nance conducting. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
