Charlie Harjo was born July 2, 1984 in Ada, Oklahoma to Ostie Jane Merritt and Clifford Harjo, Sr. He began his journey home on September 14, 2026.

Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. A private memorial service has been planned for a later date.

Charlie is survived by his brothers Edmond Harjo and Clifford Harjo, Jr. of the home in Ada, OK; Isaiah Harjo of Ada, OK, and Mose Merritt and wife, Annie Merritt of Wetumka, OK; one sister Yahnah Factor and husband, Mark Factor of Seminole, OK; his father Clifford Harjo, Sr. of Ada, OK; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Ostie Jane Merritt, brother Christopher Ray Merritt, and several aunts, uncles, and other family members.
