Doris “Gayle” Hadley, longtime Seminole resident, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Alliance Health Midwest in Midwest City at the age of 67.

She was born August 29, 1952 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Otto Wandell Lewis and Wanda Jean (Skaggs).

Gayle lived most of her life in the Seminole area.

She was a homemaker and worked for the Family Resource Center and Project Safe. Between the two, she combined over 15 years of service. Her job meant a lot to her because she was very passionate about helping people. Her hobbies included doing puzzles, reading, watching her favorite TV show, Alaskan Bush People with Nathan and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy.

Gayle was a member of the Seminole Church of Christ and loved her church family.

Survivors include her mother, Wanda Jean McCarty; son, Lanny Lewis and wife Deana; daughter, Barbara Nadeau and husband Nathan; sister, Marilyn Cory and husband John; brother, Charles Lewis and wife Darlene and son Skyler; grandchildren, Dakota and Mickenzi Anderson, Miranda Anderson and Joe Hayes, Skylar Melton and Gavin Nadeau, Christina and Rickey Gourley, Paula and Justin Grizzle and Mason Lewis; great-grandchildren, Kyndilyn Johnson, Swayla Melton, Curtis Anson, Brinlee Anderson, Daxton Wise, Haddi Hayes and Dawson Wise; nephews, Kevin Davis and wife Gina and Kerry Davis; a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Gayle was preceded in death by her father, Otto Lewis.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Seminole Church of Christ, 12040 N. Hwy 99, Seminole with Arpoika Daniels officiating.
