Joseph Hinex III

Seminole native Joseph Hinex III passed away on March 18, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Hinex Jr., and is survived by his mother, Minnie Hinex, his wife, Susie, sons Paul, (wife Carissa) and Christian; and siblings Curtis Hinex, (wife Carol), Ethel “Eth” Hinex, and Tonya, (husband Michael Ford).

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17 at Galilee Baptist Church located at 1025 E. 9th St., Shawnee, OK 74801. Burial will follow at Earlsboro Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
