Neva Vanaria

Vanaria Bowlegs, OK resident Neva Kay Vanaria passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in Oklahoma City at the age of 71.

Neva is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Edith Cathey of Bowlegs, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Alfredo Lopez Martinez of Bowlegs, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Jean Williams of Wewoka, OK; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Neva was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Patricia Williams and husband, Basile Vanaria.

Neva’s family will celebrate her life on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Starting Point (Temple of Praise) Church located at 1100 N. University Street, Seminole, OK 74868. Bill Burns and Jeff Nance will be officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
