Gibson Billy “Boss Man” David Gipson passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 75.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, James Gipson, Barbara Martinez, Vonda Factor and Leslie Gipson.
Billy is survived by his wife, Amanda Gipson; sons, James Gipson and wife Ramona, Ronald Gipson and wife Juanita; three grandsons, two great grandsons, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Wake service will be held at 6:00 P.M., Monday, February 23, 2026 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma with Kellos Walker officiating, assisted by Frank Moppin and Willie Guient. Interment to follow at Davis Family Cemetery.
