Joe Flanary

Flanary Joe Terry Flanary, age 78 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away at his home in Konawa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Rev. Wesley Martin will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Debbie Flanary of the home; two sons, Rick Flanary and wife, Lacee of Ada, Oklahoma, and Bobby Flanary and Chloe Thomas of Leigh, Oklahoma; one daughter, Amy Lanning of Norfolk, Virginia; five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. T. and Kathleen Flanary; one son, Terry Flanary; and one sister, Sue Jones.
