In Loving Memory
Mary Ann Colvin
November 16, 1943 - January 19, 2026
On January 19, 2026, our family lost a remarkable woman — Mary Ann Colvin, age 82, of Seminole, Oklahoma. Born on November 16, 1943, Mary spent her entire life in the community she loved, surrounded by the people who meant everything to her. Mary grew up in Seminole, attended Seminole High School, and built her life around faith, family, and simple joys. On December 24, 1962, she married Kenneth Eugene “Sarge” Colvin at Ideal Baptist Church. Their marriage was a true partnership filled with love, laughter, and devotion until Kenneth’s passing in 2010. Mary’s heart was gentle, steady, and endlessly giving. She found joy in the quiet moments — caring for her beloved chihuahua, Babygirl, sharing stories, and watching her great‑grandchildren grow. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, loved, and understood. Her presence brought comfort; her kindness left an imprint on everyone who knew her. Mary leaves behind a family who adored her deeply. She is survived by her son, John Colvin, and his wife, Tracy, of Earlsboro. She was a proud grandmother to Heather Colvin of Seminole; Caleb Colvin and his wife, Tara, of Earlsboro; and Gerald Colvin and his wife, Monica, of Earlsboro. She was a loving great‑grandmother to eight great‑grandchildren: Hailey, Mayce, Magic, Arica, Leah, Knox, Kashlyn, and Gentry — each one a source of joy and pride in her life. She is reunited in heav‑en with her parents; her husband, Kenneth “Sarge” Colvin; her beloved son, David Colvin; and her grandson, Kenneth Colvin. In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no funeral or burial services. Instead, her family honors her by holding close to the memories she created — the laughter, the stories, the warmth she shared so freely. Mary’s legacy is one of love, gentleness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be missed beyond measure and remembered with gratitude for the beautiful life she lived.
