Alvin Lucas

Lucas Alvin Frank Lucas, age 88 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at his home December 27, 2025.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Southwest Church of Christ located at 505 W. 17th St. in Ada, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Brian Lewis will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Alison Dancer of Stillwater, Oklahoma; one son, Dirk Lucas and wife, Stephanie of Edmond, Oklahoma; two granddaughters and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne (Prater) Lucas, his parents, Aaron and Rosa Lucas; two sisters, Reba LaRue Lucas and Inell Stuart; and one brother, Roy Lucas.
