Wanda Moss

Norman resident, Wanda Jean Moss passed away on Sunday, December 20, 20205 in Norman at the age of 99. Wanda was born on July 11, 1926 in Hazel, Oklahoma. In her early years she was proud to be a Rosie the Riveter. She married Kenneth J. Moss on April 8, 1953 in Harrison, Arkansas. Wanda was a quiet person who mostly kept to herself and cared for her poodle, Annie Marie. She treasured her friendship with her neighbor Carolyn who was kind and looked out for her in her later years.

Wanda is survived by her cousins, Bobbie Robertson, Brenda McCaskill, Janetta Hirn, Rhonda Gromic, Bobbie Sue Sledd, Connie Ellis, Barbara Martines, Jo Freeman and Kay Pace; friend, Carolyn Sullivan and many other family and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Ernest Millsap and Velma Mae (Wood) Millsap and her husband, Kenneth J. Moss.

A private burial will take place at Konawa Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
