Dewayne Whitfield

Dewayne Whitfield passed away on October 16, 2025, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Jeremy Wright of Wewoka and Jerrell Wright of Ardmore; one sister, Kathy (James) Blackshire of Wewoka; two brothers, Larry (Barbara) Edwards of Oklahoma City and Johnny Whitfield of Okmulgee; a special and devoted nephew, Larry Dee Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, greatnieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Whitfield Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Rev. Tony Randolph officiating. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.
