Henrietta Brawdy

Brawdy Henrietta (Retta) Adell Brawdy, was born November 29, 1942 in Konawa, OK. She passed away August 30, 2025 at the age of 82.

She was a devoted and loving sibling, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her laugh was infectious and she enjoyed spending time with her family. She collected teapots and anything that involved hummingbirds or butterflies. Her bold and ornery personality was the glue that kept our family together.

There will be a private family only burial at Little Cemetery in Seminole, OK.

She is survived by siblings Gerald Dewayne Jolley, Glenda Joyce Martin and Debbie Carol Walker; children Scott Lee Mendinghall, Steven Ray Mendinghall, Teresa Lynn Brawdy and Crystal Lynn Maxwell; grandchildren Scotty Decker, Melissa Lynn Fryar, Allen Roland Brawdy, Nico Otto Brawdy, Cecil Blake Votaw, Felicia Lynn Kidwell, Jesse Ray Mendinghall, Sarah Lynn Brawdy, 14 great grandchildren and her fiancé, David Sherman.

Henrietta was preceded in death by her spouse, Bill James Brawdy and her parents, Henry Ellis Jolley and Opal Marie Jolley.
