Christine McKinney

Christine Sue McKinney, Earlsboro, OK resident passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 in Tecumseh at the age of 65.

Christine is survived by her husband John McKinney of Earlsboro; sons Mark Solomon Wolfe of the home, Christopher John McKinney of Shawnee, Raymond Bear McKinney of the home and John Homma McKinney of the home; brother, Richmond Harjo of Fort Gibson, OK; sister, Arlene Davis of Okemah, OK and Carol Harjo of Shawnee, OK; two grandchildren, and many other family and friends. Christine was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Betty Carpitcher, Lena Ponkilla of Shawnee, Marilyn Toledo and brothers, Travis Harjo and Mike Harjo. Christine will be taken to Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 for wake services.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka with Rev. Eric Tholocco officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson Family Cemetery in Wetumka, OK. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
